The Reformer Studio

Founded by Bec Roberts in 2020, The Reformer Studio has quickly become a hub for Pilates enthusiasts in North Kellyville and the Hills District. What started as a small, home-based operation with just a handful of Merrithew Reformers has blossomed into a thriving commercial studio, offering a welcoming and intimate space for everyone from beginners to seasoned athletes.

Bec’s journey into the world of Pilates was deeply personal. After years of feeling unfulfilled in her corporate job, she turned to Pilates—a decision that transformed both her body and her life. Eager to share this positive change with others, Bec decided to get certified and began teaching from her home. Starting with just two Merrithew Reformers, the demand quickly grew, and soon Bec expanded to four reformers, all while fostering a tight-knit community of mainly female clients who initially felt nervous about trying Pilates but soon fell in love with the practice.

Fast forward to today, and The Reformer Studio has grown exponentially, now featuring 12 reformer beds and 28 classes per week. Opening the commercial studio marked a significant milestone, with the initial launch seeing all four classes fully booked. The success of the studio is a testament to the strong demand for quality Pilates in the area and Bec’s dedication to creating a space where people feel comfortable and supported.

“The community is everything,” Bec shares. “Some people come for the workout, and others come just to have a chat about mental health. It’s important to offer more than just fitness; it’s about creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone.”

The Merrithew Reformers at the studio are a key part of this experience, with Bec noting that after four years of use, the equipment still feels as smooth and reliable as it did on day one. The springs transition smoothly, the carriages glide effortlessly, and the low-to-the-ground design ensures accessibility for all. The Merrithew Reformers are perfect for all levels, providing a smooth and comfortable ride during every session, whether you’re working on strength or flexibility.

As The Reformer Studio continues to grow, Bec is focused on maintaining the community spirit and personal connections that helped her build the studio from the ground up. She’s excited for what’s ahead, but she never forgets the foundation of support and comfort that made it all possible.

We are honoured to have partnered with you Bec & believe in all The Reformer Studio is doing for the community.
