In March 2017, Michael Kassouh, owner of Genfit Training Centre in Ormeau, opened the doors to a modest, one-level studio. But it didn’t take long for Michael to realise that his community’s passion for fitness demanded more. Within months, the facility underwent its first expansion—starting with the group fitness area, followed by the free weights section. Yet even with these additions, it was clear that Genfit needed to grow again.

Enter Genfit 2.0.

This newly expanded facility now boasts a dedicated cardio room, a separate group fitness area, and a larger free-weight section. It’s equipped with top-tier gear, including:

• Spirit Commercial Treadmills, Upright Bikes, and Recumbent Bikes
• The impressive Spirit CSC900 Stair Climber
• Spirit Pin-Loaded Machines
• HyperFX Bumper Plates, Rigs, and Accessories

The group fitness area is fully equipped for high-energy classes, while the main floor delivers an unbeatable training experience. Genfit’s dedication to quality and innovation has made it the go-to fitness destination in South-East Queensland.

Genfit has been recognised as the Gold Coast Bulletin’s Best Gym for four consecutive years—2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. This is a testament to Michael’s vision and the team’s commitment to providing a premium fitness experience for their members.
